Agency Leadership
Karla Campbell serves as agency marketing manager for Heritage Title. Prior to joining Heritage, Karla worked at SoftPro as a business analyst on the reports team. She is also a licensed real estate broker with Keller Williams - Raleigh. Before returning to North Carolina in 2014, Karla worked for various title-industry related companies in Northern Virginia, where she served in roles such as manager and settlement agent.
Karla is an avid Tar Heels fan. In 1993, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduation, she traveled “down under” to the University of Wollongong in New South Wales, Australia, to complete her Master of Arts degree in international relations. In 2000, Karla earned her Juris Doctor degree from American University’s Washington College of Law.
Mary Lauren Castelloe joined the Heritage Title team as the agency marketing associate in May 2023, after serving as a multi-state underwriter for Investors Title. Prior to that role, Mary Lauren was a paralegal at a law firm in Asheboro, North Carolina. Mary Lauren graduated from Appalachian State University in 2016 with a degree in political science & public administration and is a devoted Mountaineers football fan! She resides in Charlotte.
Patricia Hicks has served as the office manager for Heritage Title since 2018. Prior to joining the Heritage Title team, she worked for Investors Title in various roles for both the Durham and Raleigh branches over more than 10 years, including as office manager. She has extensive experience with a wide variety of real estate transactions, including both residential and commercial, and truly enjoys navigating the challenges of underwriting title insurance.
